Place bear traps on the ground and wait for Teenagers to step on them and get trapped. Turn invisible to move around sneakily and open doors and objects to mess with the heads of other players.Use the environment to perform surprise kills like smashing through windows and concrete walls.Each Killer has different abilities to help you hunt down and kill The Teenagers.
Get chased and hide from The Killer while you are alone in the basement. Hunt the killer down with a shotgun while wearing a football helmet for protection. Sneak around in the library and plant proximity mines. Play as medic and give medicine to your friends to help them. Team up with other players and beat up the Killer using baseball bats. Each class crafts different items to help you escape. Play as 4 different classes like Assault, Technician, Scout, and Medic. Hide in the science lab and build a bomb to use against The Killer. Complete different objectives in the school and work together to escape. Last Year: The Nightmare feels like surviving through a haunted house with your friends. You play as one of The Teenagers on the run, or play as one of The Killers doing the hunting. Serial killers are chasing you as you try to escape from your high school. I love the 90’s and having a game set during this time and being so self-aware of it is really cool.The classic Last Year: The Nightmare arrives on Steam for the first time, along with the Official Soundtrack and Artbook. To me Last Year: The Nightmare feels like the game that I wanted Friday the 13 th to be, not that Friday the 13 th was bad or anything. The game handles this very well and is full of many of the clichés that horror movies tend to have, but it does this on purpose and it is one of the things that makes it so much fun. The killer is going to pick you off one at a time. There is no good just trying to run off and do it all on your own or just like in a good horror movie. Last Year: The Nightmare is the kind of game where teamwork is what you need to do. You need to do what you can in order to survive the night. These are things like baseball bats, stunners and even explosives. Also, there are materials that you need to collect in order to craft weapons. There are various objects that need to be completed before you can escape. The high schoolers have to work together in order to survive. You can use this to screw with them, stalk them and plan your attack. This lets you despawn and respawn anywhere on the map as long as it out of sight of the high school kids. Playing as the killer is really cool as you can enter predator mode.
